I suspect that we do this already in all kids of complicated ways because the manifest curriculum of skills and subjects - math and reading and so forth - increasingly lacks emotional or meaningful weight.

It'd be interesting to examine how some of these hidden curriculum items might actually become 'subjects' in their own right.
