If this started with schools, the concept would take hold without the uncertain (and likely painful) hand of government, much less the impossible demand that businesses adapt. At present, mandatory content, standardized assessment, age-grouped classrooms, and mass produced material (among other things) all push against meaning-centered schoolwork. But if students entered the working world with a clear experience of personally chosen meaningful work, they might begin to insist on the same as adults.

Or is that why everyone complains about Millennials already?
