There’s a pretty big difference between ‘take advantage’ and ‘take advantage of them’. The educated — that is, doctors, lawyers, engineers, professionals, professors, government officials, teachers, and so on — take advantage of their ‘elite’ education. But that education liberates one from being taken advantage of rather than giving one license to take advantage of others.
